Adrian Mitchell was one of the first to respond to our invitation to contribute to the William Blake Birthday Book, with his poem “William Blake says: Everything that Lives is Holy”

The original pages of The William Blake Birthday Book are on exhibition at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, until 22nd February 2009.

The work is in the main corridor (main entrance, through the atrium and turn left) and is open daily 8am to 6pm

An evening of poetry, performance and songs celebrating the publication of The William Blake Birthday Book: a limited edition artists’ book published as a tribute to William Blake on his 250th anniversary.

Michael Horovitz, Niall McDevitt and Liza Hayden, Stephen Micalef, John Gibbens and Armorel Weston, Paul Francis Cheetham, Helen Moore, Jude Rawlins, Rose Flint perform poetry and songs

This celebration of William Blake presents a multi-media event by poets, musicians and artists inspired by his continuing legacy in contemporary artforms. The participants are all contributors to the William Blake Birthday Book, which has acted as a focus to bring together this group of creative people.

The William Blake Congregation meeting 2008, 1pm Friday 28th November at Tate Britain. All welcome.
Open to all. All are welcome to bring a poem or song to share.
